Privacy
The short version: this site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and makes no request to any third party. There is nothing here to opt out of. The longer version explains exactly what that leaves.

What this site does not do
No cookies of any kind. No analytics, no tag manager, no tracking pixel. No embedded video, map, social widget or comment system. No contact form and no newsletter. The typefaces are served from this site's own server rather than from Google Fonts, so loading a page sends nothing to anyone but the host. The one exception is the root address, langlotz.ai, which carries a two-line script that reads the language your browser announces and sends you to the English or the German home page. It stores nothing and sends that reading nowhere. Every other page on the site runs no script at all.
Server logs
The site is hosted by Hostinger. Like any web server, it records each request: the IP address, the time, the page requested, and the browser's user agent string. Those records exist so the site can be operated and defended against attack. They are kept for the period Hostinger applies by default, and they are neither used to build a profile of anyone nor combined with any other source.
Getting in touch
There is no form on this site and no email address published on it, so there is no way to send me anything from these pages at all.
The booking button is a link to an appointment page that Google Calendar hosts. Following it takes you off this site. To book, you give Google your name and your email address, and Google processes them under its own privacy policy as the operator of that page; the booking then appears in my calendar. Nothing about that is written back to this site, and this site is not told whether you followed the link at all.
If you reach me another way
Correspondence that arrives by post, or by email to an address you have from elsewhere, is kept as long as the matter is live, and afterwards for as long as there is a business or legal reason to keep it. It is not used for anything else and not passed on.
Where data is processed
Hosting may involve processing within the European Economic Area. Nothing this site itself does transfers personal data beyond that. If you use the booking page, Google processes what you enter there on its own infrastructure, which may be outside Switzerland and the EEA, under its privacy policy rather than this one.
Your rights
Under the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection you may ask what data concerning you is held, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. Write to the address on the imprint and I will answer. If you are in the EU, the equivalent rights under the GDPR apply and the same route reaches me.
Changes
